Company History Timeline

Year 1975

Our roots go deep in manufacturing and supply chain execution. Edward James began working in manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain management in 1975, building decades of hands-on experience across multiple industries.

Year 1995

In 1995, Edward moved to Italy and founded Novex SaS, working closely with European manufacturers and brands to improve sourcing transparency and supplier reliability. Soon after, Ian James joined the business, and together they laid the foundation for what would become a globally active sourcing group.

Year 2010

In 2010, Novex transitioned into Novex Group Srl, expanding its reach and refining its consulting-led methodology. One year later, Ian moved to Germany, gaining direct experience in manufacturing operations, IT systems, and technical sales — which would later inform Novex’s structured, technology-aware approach to sourcing.

Year 2014

In 2014, Edward relocated to the United Kingdom, helping further internationalise the firm and align it with UK-based corporate clients and procurement teams. This allowed Novex to operate fluently across the European sourcing landscape, while expanding its delivery model globally.

Year 2025

In 2025, Novex formally launched operations in Germany, adding deeper continental reach and strengthening its supplier auditing and execution capabilities.
